The Prequels

This section originally made up the entire site. Before the prequel trilogy went into production, a wealth of information and speculation of the prequel era existed. This section of the site serves as an historic archive that aims to preserve an era of Star Wars that may soon be forgotten or overwritten. Listed below are various topics that deal with the prequel era, but predate Lucas's prequel trilogy. Click each link to find sources and information concerning each topic.

The name wasn't spoken until Obi-Wan gave Luke a lesson on "point of view" in Return of the Jedi.
Palpatine In the original films, this name isn't spoken at all. There is only "the Emperor," ruler of the Empire.
The Clone Wars

These wars made heroes out of Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker, but were forgotten after A New Hope.

The Old Republic Once the Emperor had completely dissolved the Senate in A New Hope, all elements of the Old Republic had been done away with.
Obi-Wan Kenobi The Jedi who took it upon himself to train Anakin, and who failed doing so, with horrible consequences.
